Well I am very excited. Aside from having nightmares this morning, it's been a great day! I met John for lunch and just laid around the house. It was great! I have several reasons I am excited though!
Reason number one...I have been playing around with my camera and figuring out the manual/professional settings. I took some photos of my animals using these features and got some great results!! I also was going through and admiring some of my work from the past shoots... yes, a lot of them have been on auto modes...but even so, my camera can take some AMAZING photos- I will be posting some of these in this blog.
Reason two for being excited is that I get to work on Saturday and make some extra money.... It's only for a few hours, but it's taking a girl to a dinner party who is in a wheel chair. I have worked with the family before, but it will be great to see her again and make some spare money! :) With a new apartment, I'm struggling.
Reason three for being excited is that Sunday I am going to be a "model" for my friend who is QUITE the photographer! It will be a studio session, which I'm even more thrilled about, not just for getting awesome pictures taken, but also learning how to take indoor photos better. I have to admit, this is an area I am ALWAYS nervous about, and need to be taught to do it right so I'm more confident. So it will be a great day!! I hope that John goes with me too so he can listen and help me remember what we are taught. He's much more technical than me. I become technical once I've practiced a few times.
Now I just need to schedule a few senior/senior-like shoots so I can keep practicing and build my portfolio... I really LOVE doing senior photos but need models! :)
