HAPPY 2009 and Bella

Hello everyone & Happy New Year!!! I cannot believe it is 2009!! I have a few days left of break (benefits of teaching)... so I have been spending some time working on some of my favorite photos. I will upload some as I complete them. I have also been reading my camera manual and fiddling, trying to learn all of the great features and what they are capable of. I've got a long way to go...but this is a start...and I already know I can take outdoor photos pretty well..so it's a good running start.

A little bit about me...since I haven't really introduced myself here yet.... I LOVE photos. I love to take photos, both snap shots and actual thought-out portraits...I love to be in photos....I love to edit photos. Yes...I am still considered amateur in some aspects, but I feel like I'm getting much better. I did two sessions of senior portraits when I had a regular point and shoot compact camera...and have done one session of senior portraits since getting my Nikon D60. I absolutely love this camera! It takes phenominal pictures! Be sure to check out my Picasa gallery for some samples! Also--- if you are reading this and are interested in doing some photos with me, send me a message! I love doing portraits of anything!! Kids, animals, seniors, models, scenery, cars...ANYTHING. Just let me know!

Moving on....

These photos of Bella were just taken as snap shots...point and shoot...still with my Nikon D60....but with a wild puppy, it was hard to take time to get the perfect shot...especially with the 30 people crammed into the house. So, John and I did the best we could with pictures and I edited some of my faves.
